About the Space

Early 1900's Colonial Revival in Hartford’s lovely, historic West End. Directly across from the Governor's Mansion and surrounded by many grand homes, this is an opportunity for you to not only build equity, but to create something very special. Three stories of living space include front and rear staircases, large rooms, two ensuite bedrooms and a huge sunroom, now heated by a toasty pellet stove. The eat-in kitchen has an oversized pantry with loads of storage, a second refrigerator and prep sink. There is even a nautical room (den) designed to feel like a ship's stateroom with built-in storage and brass-trimmed portholes. Outside you'll find a classic porte cochere leading to a two-car garage. The inground pool was used as recently as 2018 and can be restored. Live mere steps away from Elizabeth Park, a project of landscape architect and Hartford native, Frederick Law Olmsted, famed designer of New York's Central Park.
