The Reception Room is a versatile venue appropriate for both corporate events and more social occasions. The room’s floor-to-ceiling sliding glass windows open onto Japan Society’s serene waterfall, pond and sculpture garden; the room can also be used in conjunction with the adjacent Main Foyer to enlarge and enhance the space, accommodating up to 250 guests for reception events and 100 people for seated events, such as a dinner or lecture (15 for distanced capacity). The room is equipped with audiovisual systems and projection screens if needed, and an adjoining kitchen is available for use by caterers and service staff.
