About the Space
The rate listed is for still photography only - no b-roll, no video. Rate also applies only to house and garden use (Master, kitchen and office off-limits). All other spaces like tennis court, club, second "new pool" areas have separate rates. Inquire within. Designed in 1961 by the architect John Lautner, the house is one of Los Angeles’s most beloved landmarks: it has served as a backdrop for films (“The Big Lebowski,” “Charlie’s Angels”), numerous fashion shoots and parties. Goldstein bought the residence in 1972, and worked with Lautner and others to renovate it over the years, adding a rooftop tennis court next door and his own nightclub underneath. Concrete angles and hidden retractable glass walls, the indoor-outdoor is a space age bachelor pad. Expansive view encompasses the entire city, stretching from downtown to the Pacific Ocean. The structure is almost all original, but materials, built-ins, motorized elements (skylights and walls), glazing, and more... the architect combined the lower-level study, studio, and master bedroom into one large master divided by a concrete wall and furnished with concrete furniture (and an invisible sink). The master also has a built-in scale and windows that look into the pool. Minimum Daily Rate that is shown is based on a still shoot with a crew/talent size of 12 or less @ a 10 hour day.
