About the Space

This artistic loft is located on the third floor of a 100 year old textile factory with a south east view of the city. It was originally the home of Simpson Knitting Mills which was acquired by Monarch Knotting Mills in 1949. Textile outfits, a greeting card manufacturer, and a paint company occupied the building until 1997 when it was converted into live-work studios. This open, large space has 14ft ceilings with vintage beams. The industrial windows allow for an abundance of natural light and are surrounded by lush, sun-kissed plants. It's furnished with modern arts and distinctive design . The tall, narrow architectural styling is passionately loved by Torontonian artists. This space offers a unique opportunity for self-expression.     Navid was a great host, very good to respond to questions and gave a quick tour of the studio on the day. The studio is very bright, clean and well equipped with backdrops and seamless, included in the price at no extra charge, as well as nice furnishings and colourful plants. Definitely recommend, 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
