About the Space

Independence Studio is a shooting and production facility, complete with 2 Stages and a vast array of lighting and production equipment. We try to make it easy and affordable for our clients and crews to turn their imaginations into reality. We provide filmmakers with everything they need in a clean, convenient, creative and professional shooting environment. 1,500 sq ft Black 360° 40ft White Cyc 40ft Black Void 35ft Black Cyc 25ft Green Screen 20ft Blue Screen 25ft LED Curtain Comfortable and spacious, shoot on our pre-lit White Cyc, when you are done turn around, flip a switch, and shoot on our pre-lit Green Screen then immerse yourself in our 360° Black Void. Each stage has 10 parking spaces and has plenty of room for trucks and vans to unload. We also have free street parking in front of the building. Our clients and filmmakers will have access to our facilities and amenities where the studio is your playground to be creative. Each stage has access to 220 amps of house power with (3) 60 amp stage pin/bates. We have over 2000 square feet of sound absorption sheets for better sound quality. Lights and equipment are includes with each stage but if that is not enough you are welcome to bring your own lights and equipment as well. If you happen to want another color backdrop we do not have, we have a custom cyc wall you can paint any color you want as a backdrop. Independence Studio is located in the safe and convenient area of Woodland Hills in the Warner Center District. Please contact us to schedule a tour to come by and check it out for yourself.     We booked and shot a short film for two days on stage 2, with amazing white cyc and black void space, with tons of on-stage equipments, amenities, and pre-lit kinos and lights rigged on the ceiling. Super spacious to accomodate 25+ crews, 15+ actors, and all the gears and production designs/props that we carried in. Everything went smooth and successful, special thanks to Paul, the on-site location manager, who is always there to help you. He is a super friendly, warmhearted, and responsive (and responsible) person, i really loved working with him. Thank you Paul and Omid, the owner, for giving us an opportunity to shoot at this amazing studio. Despite the location being a little far from where we were (from Burbank), this studio is definitely worth making the trips and I'd love to recommend this to any filmmaker or videographer who aspires to create a flawless void looks on their films.
