About the Space

Trinity has long hosted musical performances, rehearsals, weddings, nonprofit fundraisers, movie/television shoots, and other community events. Overlooking the garden, the second-floor sanctuary is a light-filled space perfect for ceremonies. French-style windows that open to three balconies over the garden provide a vibrant view of Tompkins Square Park. Movable seating allows the host to customize the space. The sanctuary is accessible via one flight of stairs or an elevator. Maximum capacity: 75 Trinity is situated near multiple public transportation options, four blocks from a parking garage, and walking distance to Union Square hotels. The building is steps from Tompkins Square Park and the East Village’s famous collection of restaurants and bars. We can recommend many vendors who know Trinity well, including our pianist, who’s involved with some of Broadway’s biggest shows, local restaurants that have catered past events, and local wine/liquor stores. Trinity is a vibrant, inclusive, and affirming church that welcomes guests of all backgrounds and events of all types. A $75 Building Access Fee, payable directly to the building supervisor, will be due at the start of your rental. The building supervisor will open the space for you, acquaint you with the space, and lock up at the end of your rental.
