Vintage furniture, found objects and even a Ducati motorcycle in the great room combine with high end tile and finishes. The 5 acre property is covered in wild sumac trees, wild raspberries and wild flowers.
Natural light floods this space through the South facing 12ft x 28 ft window wall framing the south yard. Locally sourced materials and mid century furniture along with considered details such as diffused lighting, soften the room and set the mood. Beautiful plants abound in the home to offering vibrance and superior air quality. This open concept steel home is perfect for guests that want a calming, rejuvenating experience surounded by nature. Outdoors, stroll among the wild landscape, enjoy a BBQ, hemispherical steel fire circle, outdoor wood fired cedar sauna and a cedar cold plunge.
Kitchen
With an open concept design in the Great Room, the kitchen is perfect for continuing conversation while taking on the role of the chef. A large centre island and expansive counter space behind allow for easy meal preparation for 6 with convenient dishwasher cleanup. You can enjoy dinner with a view and Noguchi lighting in the dining space. Cookware, bakeware, plates and utensils are provided along with coffee, tea and spices.
Living Room
The living room is the central gathering place to enjoy intimate conversations with a group of friends. Relax with a book while sunlight pours into the room or have a movie night in. Wi-fi is available so that you can log in to your streaming services. The acoustics in the home allow for a gentle whisper to carry, so you don’t have to disrupt your calming atmosphere.

Enter the home through the douglas fir enclosure and find one bedroom to the right and another to the left, steps from the luxurious three-piece bathroom, complete with toilet and bidet by Toto Japan. A Queen and Double pull-out bed are included for up to 4 guests who stay on the main floor. Upstairs, you will find the open concept loft with office area, large bedroom with a King size bed, and a private four-piece ensuite oasis including imported glazed tiles from Spain, a huge soaker tub and toilet/bidet by Toto Japan. The upstairs sanctuary is perfect for anyone that likes privacy and leisurely mornings to relax in comfort before taking on the day.
