About the Space

Skylight Studio is a one-of-a-kind designer loft featuring bold retro interiors, custom-built architectural elements, abundant natural light, and multiple visually distinct shooting areas. Designed as both a home and creative space, the studio offers a cinematic mix of 1970s warmth, mid-century furniture, sculptural art, vintage objects, and playful color. The open-plan loft includes a rich burgundy kitchen with dark wood countertops, a colorful mosaic backsplash, statement lighting, and a large island with bar seating. The kitchen is well suited for food, lifestyle, product, fashion, editorial, and branded-content shoots. The main living area features white-painted brick walls, oversized skylights, large windows, warm vintage furnishings, an orange geometric rug, sculptural lighting, mature plants, original artwork, and a collection of distinctive props. The open layout provides long sightlines and a variety of angles for wide shots, interviews, and staged scenes. The raised bedroom area is wrapped in custom burlwood veneer, creating a darker, more intimate environment with rich texture and warmth. Built-in cabinetry, integrated bedside tables, ambient lighting, and a sculptural platform bed give the area a highly finished, cinematic look that contrasts beautifully with the brighter studio spaces. The loft also includes a glass dining table, vintage chrome chairs, a retro pinball machine, a suspended swing, oversized artwork, colorful sculptures, custom cabinetry, exposed brick, and a range of movable decorative objects. Production equipment available on site includes an Amaran 600 continuous light, a 10-foot paper backdrop, a 10-foot green screen, and various additional lights and strobes. Equipment availability and setup should be confirmed in advance. With several distinct environments in one location, Skylight Studio is ideal for photo shoots, film productions, interviews, music videos, fashion editorials, product campaigns, branded content, and creative meetings. Furniture and selected props may be repositioned with prior approval.
