Sanctuary on the Greens – Creative & Contemplative Basement Studio offers a serene, open-plan basement studio ideally suited for photo shoots, short film projects, sound and song recording, readings, salon sittings, contemplative gatherings, wellness sessions, and small creative residencies. The space is notably quiet, private, and acoustically gentle, making it especially suitable for projects requiring focus, stillness, and minimal ambient disturbance. The room is entirely unfurnished and fully open, providing a clean, adaptable canvas that can be shaped to meet a wide range of creative or reflective needs. Located within the home of an artist and healer, the environment carries a calm, grounded quality that many guests describe as restorative and high-vibrational. Natural light, thoughtful finishes, and a sense of spaciousness support both artistic clarity and contemplative work. Nutritious Meals & Hospitality Add Ons :Guests may choose to enhance their use with authentic, home-cooked vegetarian meals, prepared with care using organic, nutritionally rich, and seasonal ingredients. Meals are crafted by the hostess, an artisan culinary cook with a deep understanding of wellness-based nourishment. Cuisine offerings may include Indian, Indo-Chinese, Italian, and Continental vegetarian dishes. Meal services are available by advance arrangement and are ideal for artists, creatives, and facilitators seeking grounding, nourishing hospitality during their work/stay. Wellness & Add-On Experiences Guests may further enrich their time at Sanctuary through the optional Sakash Wellness Package, which can include yoga and meditation, guided breathwork practices, and sound healing experiences. All wellness offerings are intentional, quietly facilitated, and designed to support restoration and creative clarity. Advance booking is required. Guest Accommodation Add on The fully furnished private basement suite includes one queen bedroom and one pull-out queen bed, Wi-Fi internet, and a spa-style shower room. Towels, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, and a hairdryer are provided. Pre-booked access may be arranged for the home sauna & gym, laundry, and a sunny, golf-course-facing flower garden overlooking the eighteenth hole. Location & Surroundings Sanctuary is located in Westwood Plateau, Coquitlam, British Columbia, a quiet and mature residential neighbourhood overlooking a golf course. The area offers walking paths, hiking trails, a lake with looped walks, a swimming pool, sports facilities, a theatre, an arts centre, and a nearby shopping mall with cafés and tea houses. Dining options in the area include Malaysian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Italian, and American cuisine. A direct train line provides convenient access to downtown Vancouver. Care for the Home Guests are asked to treat the home and amenities with respect. All amenities must be pre-booked and used in accordance with host guidance. Cleaning fee & damage deposit expected.
