About the Space

The barn was built around 1835, the same time as the adjoining mansion. The structures is very rustic with hand cut beams as long as 30' sitting across the space. The ceiling is 3 stories high in the main room and there are other wings, nooks and lofts. Total approximately 3,000 square ft. The space can accommodate up to 10 people for overnight, there is bathroom with hot shower and fully equipped kitchen in the ground floor. The barn is surrounded by 12 acres of land with well maintained lawn, mature trees, flower gardens, hiking trails and river front cross the street. The barn has been used for art exhibits, weddings and music performances, etc. Great space for photo shoots, music videos, etc. Please note: there is no heating in the barn, so it is not recommended to book during the winter months!
