Located in Steveston (Richmond), this design-focused house, with ~1600 sq ft available, offers a natural elegance with an earth-tone colour palette. Spacious and bright, with vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, white kitchen, and private yard. Near floor-to-ceiling windows give beautiful, natural light. Westcoast-minimalist garden in the front and private, lush green garden in the back evokes a sense of peace. The house has been curated to create a calm sophistication in every room. The furniture pieces are neutral, earthy, yet elegant. Available props include dried florals, natural ceramics and tea ware, art books and other genres, linen, wool, and other textiles, rugs, and unique vintage finds. For photoshoots and indoor small-production filming, or off-site meetings in a quiet, aesthetically-inspiring space. FEATURED BY: Our space offers a proven backdrop for success. Brands / notable names we've hosted include BC Hydro, Smash + Tess, Organika, Justin Wu, Laughing Stock Vineyards, O5 Tea, Ceremonie, United + Free, and Glowball Chocolates. PARKING: Parking is available for 1 vehicle, with free street parking. AVAILABILITY + RATES: - Flat day rate of $625 (plus GST) within the hours of 9AM-4PM (note Giggster breaks it down to an hourly rate, but this location only books at a flat day rate. This means if you're looking to book for less than 7 hours, the day rate still applies.) - M-F only from 9AM to 4PM. For multi-day bookings or availability outside the listed hours, please inquire for additional rates and arrangements. - Pricing is up to 10 people. Inquire about pricing if your crew exceeds 10. - Booking time includes prep, set up, and take down. IMPORTANT NOTES TO CONSIDER: - Serious inquiries only. There is a non-refundable $85 plus GST scouting fee, per day of scouting. - This is a private family residence, with access to the foyer, library, living room, kitchen, dining room, two bathrooms, master bedroom, front yard, and courtyard. The rest of the house is NOT available. - Use of stove, oven, fridge are NOT included in price. Please inquire if you need functional use. - Items in enclosed areas such as fridge, cabinets, and drawers are NOT included in rental. - We are a pet-free, vape/smoke-free, drug-free and alcohol-free environment. - Ensure you take any trash with you when you leave and refrain from using our garbage bins. - There may be quiet office work taking place in a detached unit located in the backyard during your rental. Brief use of the bathroom by owner will be necessary during breaks. - To protect our flooring, we request that stilettos or high-heeled shoes not be worn. Any damage caused may result in repair or replacement costs being invoiced to you. - Furniture can be rearranged for your shoot, excluding the library bookshelf, dining shelves, foyer console, and bed. The sectional should be moved with extra care. - Return all furniture and objects to their original positions (we recommend taking snapshots on your phone before starting your shoot). When moving items, please lift them instead of dragging. In the event of damage, loss, theft, or changes to the integrity of any items in the space, an invoice for replacement will be provided. - The renter will be asked to present rental insurance, production insurance, filming permits, and any other relevant requirements. WEATHER: While we cannot guarantee favorable weather for your rental, we will strive to make your experience in our space exceptional.
