About the Space

1938 beach house in Newport county, Rhode Island on a finger peninsula affording great views. Originally these houses were only used in the summer, so heat and AC were added much later. Interior walls of knotty pine, reminiscent of a ship interior. The bathrooms are from a 1950-60's renovation; only the kitchen has been updated in past 60 years. Yard has an original granite fireplace and there is a detached garage. Natural beauty. Extensive conservation land around the beaches, great views of water from every window as it sits on a peninsula.
