Newly renovated Mid Century roadside motel in Treasure Island, Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. Public beach access is 71 steps away on Sunset Beach. Across from a public pavilion. In the motel (6 rooms and 1 penthouse with a view of the beach) there is original terrazzo floors and Space Age furnishings and kitchenettes. The penthouse apartment has a living room, bedroom and a full kitchen. There is a set of interior painted stairs leading up to it from the motel breezeway. There's a colorful painted mural in the hallway. The bedroom has a faux vintage fireplace and Space Age decor in a bold color palette. The living room has windows on 3 sides facing Sunset Beach and gets spectacular sunsets and Golden Hour lighting. There are 5 beach cottages, exteriors painted in bright colors. Interiors are similar to the motel: Space Age meets Gulf Coast furnishings. Each cottage has a bedroom (1-2) and bathroom, kitchen and living room. There is a main courtyard and smaller courtyard with a table and chairs, retro umbrellas, corn hole, shuffleboard, ping pong, and other games. There are grills, chaise lounges and a hammock and some tropical landscaping with palms and shells as the main vibe. There is a retro Front Desk area in the main motel.
