About the Space
The building is a schools building originally built in 1926 with four additions completed at various tines up until 1957. The original building has wood floors, plaster walls, a 200 seat theater, and the entire building has been restored to its original appearance and style. The additions have also been restored and it has a cafeteria and kitchen as well as a ballet room complete with ballet floor, mirrors, and barre. There is an art gallery and several art studios. The theater has theatrical stage lighting, sound system, and a green room. The building is surrounded by about 5 acres of wood and open areas with walking paths, playground equipment, and picnic areas. We have video and audio recording capabilities in the theater. The building is located in the heart of Signal Mountain, TN with hiking trails and beautiful vistas into the Tennessee River valley.
