About the Space

Nexus Media Studio NYC, a premier affordable recording studio and media company in the heart of Downtown Manhattan, offers studio time, perfect for podcasters, artists, entrepreneurs, script readers and more. Equipped with four microphones, a multi-camera setup, and teleprompter, Nexus provides all-inclusive recording and post-production services, such as editing, audio mastering, live-streaming, artist promotion, and more. Conveniently located in the Financial District, this studio is open for short and long-term sessions, with discounts available for multiple-hour bookings. For single hour booking, the rate is $75 an hour plus tax, discounts are offered for 2+ hour session. *Additional time can be added in hourly increments or discount for full day booking. Session times include arrival and preparation for recording time. We typically allocate 15 minutes for setup. Contact us with any additional questions ahead of booking. All recording sessions can provide (upon request): - multitrack audio recording - multicam video recording - on-site engineer - complimentary coffee, tea, and water -Audio/Video editing options are also available as add-on -Discounts given for recurring clients.

    RC was very communicative, I reached out in a crisis situation on a Sunday night! He responded quickly, was accommodating, transparent, and assuring. My celebrity talent arrived on time the next day after having to get across town in heat and humidity, dive right into the performance. Rick, the manager met him at the door. Escorted him up. No confusion for a person whose head had to be in the game fast. Rick worked with me remotely to get the green background drape set up as perfectly as possible. My only recommendation to these fine young men is to invest in an actual green screen so it can be a very smooth background. We were using the color just as a cool background, so it wouldn't matter that there are drape lines. We just prefer the very smooth screen look. Rick stayed with me the whole evening and when we weren't sitting on the phone together, he answered immediately when I called and let him know that our talent had a need for an adjustment in screen, mic, drapery, water. He was very calm and very helpful. Definitely would go back to this venue because I know I can work with them and they care, and the price is very reasonable particularly for a nonprofit with no line item called out for the last-minute change we had to make work. They were part of the "team" and I appreciate it.
