About the Space

The Portland Art Museum's Rental Sales Gallery space is just across the street from our historic Portland Art Museum in the Elliot Tower. The gallery features over 200 local artists with new art pieces showcased every week, filling the walls with color and intertest! There is a street entrance and parking directly in front of the building. There are offices for breakout spaces. The art is spread over two separate spaces that can lend themselves to photoshoots, exciting social gatherings, and community talks that will be surrounded by lively art! We are so excited to share our Gallery of local art and artist as an Event space. From paintings to photography and sculpture, this bright space is constantly featuring new exciting works hanging salon style. With opportunities for breakout spaces including a secondary galley next door as well as offices that can be used for makeup and prep. We would love to host collaborative events in this space that will feature our local artists and engage the community!
