About the Space

Newly renovated, solar powered, photography and film space located in Pioneertown. This is the perfect base camp for your outdoor productions with indoor studio space. Set on 2.5 acres of private land, you’ll have access to boulders and 360 degree scenic views, very similar to Josua Tree State Park, but much closer and more accessible. The vast vicinity allows for expansive photo and video shoots as well as movie sets. The indoor studio area is ideal for more controlled set ups, and audio recording. Events, conferences, workshops and private dinners are also welcomed. The indoor studio space is 1200 square feet with a 15x 20 ft seamless white wall. The space is flooded with natural light via a 5 ft x 6 ft skylight and a wall of windows. You may also black out the daylight if necessary. The outdoor studio space offers a 15 ft x 20 ft white wall. Upon request, you are welcome to personalize this wall to suit your production and event needs. The second level is equipped with a dedicated hair, make up and styling area, as well as a desk and 2 twin beds. The kitchen is a chefs professional kitchen with a SMEG 6 gas burner professional range. We have thought of everything and run our space in an ecologically friendly way. -100% solar run -grey water system -zero waste policy Full shower and bath with handmade terra cotta tiles is located adjacent to the main building. 20 minutes from downtown Joshua tree park and the park entrance. 10 min from the integratron, 5 minute from Pappy and Harriet’s. I have been in the industry for over 25 years. There is nothing of this kind in the high desert and was built with my production experience in mind. It is a very comfortable space with access to all the amenities needed while having the desert landscape at your doorstep. Tell us about your shoot and we'll do what we can to accommodate your needs and answer any questions you may have. All hours in the space are billable, including set up and tear down hours. All alcohol must be purchased and served by a licensed caterer. No cash bars are allowed. Note: normal pricing does NOT apply to major holidays. Please ask for a quote.
