About the Space

If you are in search of Old Hollywood opulence look no further. Our studio is the ideal intimate boudoir set, fit with a clawfoot Victorian sofa, 1970’s dimmable chandelier, and several Art Deco changing screens. The space shape shifts from a luxurious living room to a film noir Casablanca lounge set with heavy velvet drapery, serving trolleys, and a working Essex upright piano. We offer a curated collection of designer barware, decor, and wardrobe that are included with your rental. Please refer to our website to view our current inventory of props as some may have sold. Wardrobe includes fur coats, fox stoles, gloves, and costume jewelry. All of our merchandise is true vintage- no reproductions. We firmly believe the devil is in the details, and the way your model feels like a star when holding a weighted tumbler translates to the camera. If you happen to fall in love with pieces from our collection, most are available for purchase. We are in the historic Apparel Mart building which is a Renaissance Revival structure with marble hallways, regal staircases, fire escapes, and a rooftop available for filming upon request. We are centrally located in the heart of the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles, which is blocks from Santee alley- perfect for last minute items. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and affordable parking options within a stone’s throw of the building. The building has 24 hour security for a safe, controlled environment.
