About the Space

Our Town Hall is located in Newtown Connecticut. Dedicated in 1930 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it has served as the heart and center of the community by providing space for entertainment, events, sports and governmental and civic activities. From elegant weddings, to birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, meetings or performances, the Town Hall is ready to serve your space needs with a number of available rental spaces at reasonable family pricing. It has an elegant ball room is a replica of the Alexandria Room in New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Also there is a large open room is used for basketball, birthday parties, exhibitions, fairs, fundraisers and even weddings. Our theater houses a movie house and hosts many live musical productions, as well as civic events, dance performances, fundraisers and other activities and there are several meeting rooms are available for civic or other affairs and even for smaller social events or celebrations.
