About the Space

***If you are hosting a party / gathering / event of any kind, please make sure to book under EVENTS, NOT PRODUCTIONS*** Welcome to Studio CLYX 2, a light-drenched open layout space envisioned for photography, film, and curated events that is conveniently located right across the road from Morgan Ave L Train Station. We also offer multiple scenes such as a dusty rose velvet curtains that can be drawn over the wooden walls and both beige and olive lime-washed walls. The studio is conveniently located on the 1st floor. EQUIPMENT: We provides 4 C-Stands, 2 V-Flats, 2 Sandbags and 1 x Video Light. All other lighting EQ and seamless backdrops (white, grey, beige) are Add-ons. Please inform us 36 hours before your shoot as all add-ons are subjected to availability. See below for EQ List. SOUND: The space is not fully soundproof though many guests have successfully filmed here. There are events happening in neighboring units in the building on weekends. For productions recording audio, we recommend booking the space on weekdays instead. FREIGHT: This is a self service studio on the 1st floor and you will be provided with access code and instructions on entering the building. The freight elevator is for passengers with heavy items only. It is opened from 8AM to 4PM. Do allow for 5-10 minutes for the operator to arrive after being called and let us know in advance before your booking. MUSIC: There are other artists and studios in the building so we kindly ask that you moderate the music and noise from 7am to 5pm. No loud music and no DJ is allowed. CLEANING: To ensure the studio is affordable for our guests, we ask that you keep the space clean and leave it in the way it was presented. SMOKING: No smoking and No drugs is allowed in the space!
