About the Space

Streamcast Detroit! is a multi-studio space for audio recording, television production, photography and film production. There are 4 different studios attached to a Central Control Room, Scene Shop, Kitchen and Dressings rooms, along with several production office spaces. All studios are equipped with TalkBack circuits for intercom communication with the control room. The Scene Shop is equipped with a full service Grip Electric and Lighting systems with more than any film or television production may need, such as: Open Face, Fresnel, 9Light MiniBrut, C-Stands, Roller stands, Side-Arms, Clamps, Diffusion, Scrims, etc. "Studio A" is a carpeted live multi-camera space that is sound proofed for ideal audio quality. This smaller studio is perfect for small ensemble recording or individual instrument recording. The space is 12'x18' directly connected to the Control Room, Studio B & Studio C Vocal Room. There is a broadcast desk available for live Podcast style On-Camera production. The studio is equipped with professional overhead lighting, Full HD PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) remote controlled cameras, Program Monitor, Preview Monitor, and Headphone Monitoring, The Studio features Tilted Windows for clear communication with the Control Room and Attached Vocal Isolation Studio. Studio talkback circuits are installed for communication with the control room. "Studio B" is 18ft x 25ft open floor studio space with an overhead suspended lighting grid. Three sides of the studio walls are used as backdrop and the fourth wall is equipped with studio grade tilted windows for communication with the live control room, Studio A & Studio C. This space is ideal for 8 piece ensemble recording, live broadcast of television programming, talk shows, comedy shows, etc. This studio is equipped with 3x 4k Black Magic Design Studio cameras and a 4th 4k Black Magic Design URSA camera. Cinematographer dolly and tripods are also available. The studio has the following backdrops available: Black, Grey, Chroma Green, Chroma Blue. Standard Batten piping is installed to allow for any backdrop scenic pieces to be hung for your own design. A scene shop is also located on premises to accommodate custom scenic design elements for the studio. "Studio C" is 12ft x 8ft enclosed vocal isolation studio space with with comfortable reading light. All sides of the studio walls treated with sound control surfaces and a fully insulated ceiling. Studio C Vocal space has both a window for communication into the Control Room as well as a window to the connected Studio A small ensemble space, and Studio B the large ensemble space. This space is ideal for ADR, Lead Vocal, Narration, etc. The vocal room fits a maximum of 2 people. The studio has connected HD Monitors for playback of footage, scripts or lip sync needs. Multitrack recording is provided in the Control Room at high quality 192kHz dynamic range digitally captured. Various multitrack recording software can be used with the Control Room console, such as ProTools, Reaper, Logic, Cakewalk, etc. Any External Pre-Amps of your choosing can be easily integrated to the multitrack recording desk patch bays. Tube, Ribbon, Condensed, Dynamic Mics are all available upon request. This booking requires a on site Engineer to help facilitate the record and studio control room capture of your production.
