About the Space

A chalet nestled in the woods on 1.5 acres of mountainside in the Catskills. 7-9 months of the year there's a very active babbling brook. Location is a bird sanctuary, approximately 1200 feet above sea level. A large deck gives way to sprawling mountain vistas and somewhat of a valley view. Deer frequently graze on the grass of the front lawn and wild turkey cut across the property from time to time. Imagine a ski lodge scaled to the size of a single family home with its own slope as the front lawn. We installed L.E.D. track lighting which brilliantly lights up the wide open interior living space of the chalet. Modern interior design scaled just right for the space with unique pieces hand made and/or repurposed by the owners.
