About the Space
The 25 acre hudson valley property is comprised of a modern barn, guest cottage and treehouse. An ideal location for a film or photography shoot or a small family and friend gathering. Rental includes exclusive use of the property including all three spaces, access to walking trails, an outdoor play set, and large basement games room. The Barn House: After careful restoration efforts, our modern barn-style home was rebuilt in 2020 with the help of renowned Spanish architect, Maria Milans. The light-filled, minimalist interior houses 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and a large, open plan living space, comfortably sleeps 6 people. Highlights of the house include: - Original hand hewn wooden beams dating back to the 1800's - Modern fire place - 28ft ceiling great room - Enormous glass windows on both sides of the house - 12-foot-long kitchen island - Carpeted basement/playroom, smart TV, large gravel patio with BBQ grill, high end appliances (microwave, cooker/ stove, dishwasher) and outside fire pit -High speed wifi -Hot Tub Treehouse: Featured in the 'New York Times' real estate section, The Hudson “Treehouse” offers guests a truly unique glamping experience in the midst of breathtaking Hudson Valley nature. The space has been completely rebuilt with reclaimed materials and unique features throughout. best features include a private outdoor claw foot tub, an expansive balcony looking down on a stream and views of nature while lying in bed! Guest Cottage: Converted from an 1800’s carriage house, our guest cottage is a studio style cottage that includes a kitchenette with basic cooking supplies, mini fridge, microwave, sink, hot plate and coffee maker - it does not include an oven or dishwasher. The bathroom has a toilet, shower and no sink (you use the sink in the kitchen). There is a queen bed with luxury linen, pull out couch (twin), TV, wifi, patio furniture, grill, hammock and firepit.

I recently shot a short film on this property and cannot speak highly enough of the experience. Tammy and Ben were impeccable hosts and communicators. The main house is modern, clean and has the ability to shoot with windows open or closed. It feels like an elevated country home that is perfect for photo shoots or film locations. There are also two additional properties onsite, a guest cottage and a treehouse space that have lovely views and are ideal to shoot in and/or house cast and crew. Also lots of lovely nooks and crannies: a patio and grill, a hammock, different barbeque areas and firepits. The property is easy to access from New York City or the Hudson Valley and is well kept and clean, with a long private driveway and tons of greenery and foliage. There are so many different ways to use and utilize the space and the ability to house people made for an easy and effortless shoot. Don't hesitate to book! You won't regret it. We were fortunate enough to shoot a short film at the property in June of 2024, and it was everything and more than we could've hoped it to be. Sprawling grounds, wooded trails, plenty of private spaces and outbuildings, and the infrastructure to support a group of 20-ish folks at any given time made the logistical part of this project so much incredibly easier. On top of that, Ben and Tammy were incredibly helpful, flexible, and eager to make the process as seamless as possible. They provided consistent, reliable communication and made sure expectations were clear from beginning to end. I can't recommend their property enough - whether it's a private event, family gathering, a photo or film shoot, or just an intimate getaway.

Tammy & Ben are very communicative, accommodating, and easy to work with. I recently used their property to film a celebrity interview. The space worked great for our creative and logistic needs. Leading up to the shoot, Tammy and Ben were helpful to all scouts and planning needed. Few location owners are as understanding and honest as Tammy and Ben are. I’ve been booking residential locations for decades now and I wish everyone was as flexible as Tammy & Ben for a successful booking. Pictures and info are perfectly accurate as well.
