Our red brick midcentury ranch home is on a tree-filled lush acre lot, and has the vibe of Americana with a modern kitchen (kitchen completion estimated June 2021). There is also a detached garage/guesthouse at the back of the property. We also have a couple chicken coops where our son raises chickens, a mini-barn with a mini-corral where our miniature Arabian horse Annabelle lives when she's not grazing in the yard. We also have a rose garden in the front and back yard, as well as a large white-fenced vegetable and rose garden at the back of our property. Peach, apricot, apple and citrus trees create a little orchard close to the guesthouse. There are 50-70 trees all over the property.
The southern border of our property is lined with many tall trees, and under them grow blackberry bushes. Since we moved here 23 years ago I've referred to it as "the wild area"; it provides privacy, and a lush green backdrop to our family and business events.
We have flood irrigation once or twice a month, depending on the season, which will limit access to some parts of our property. These conditions can be discussed on a case by case basis.
