About the Space
Hi, I’m Ivan Rakov, a filmmaker and creative entrepreneur. This is my personal space — Ivan Rakov Studio — fully restored and ready for creative projects. We host photoshoots, video productions, podcasts, and content creation, offering a personal approach to every client and project. The studio is fully equipped, flexible, and designed to help creators bring their ideas to life. PHOTO AND VIDEO PRODUCTION The studio is fully equipped for both photo and video projects. A white cyclorama wall provides a clean, seamless background ideal for interviews, commercials, and creative productions. A backdrop system with multiple color options is also available. We will install your preferred backdrop color free of charge. If the backdrop remains off the floor, its use is complimentary; if it’s pulled onto the floor and stepped on, a backdrop replacement fee may apply. The space also includes a loft-style corner with furniture and textured walls, perfect for lifestyle, portrait, or editorial shoots. A wide range of professional lighting options is available to achieve any visual style — from soft natural looks to cinematic setups. A Pre-Lit Cyclorama Wall option is also available, ensuring the cyc wall is fully lit and ready for immediate use upon your arrival. This setup provides consistent, professional lighting for both photo and video productions. We rented this studio for a video shoot and had a great experience overall. The space looked exactly like the photos — clean, well-maintained, and very production-friendly. Load-in was easy, and everything we needed was already there, which saved us a lot of time on set. The host was responsive and helpful, which we really appreciated. Location Rules

- Cyclorama Use Shooting on the cyclorama is allowed only in shoe covers or barefoot. Street shoes are not permitted. Talent may wear regular shoes, but please apply protective tape to the soles — tape is provided in the studio. We do our best to maintain a clean white surface for every client. You may request a fresh repaint of the cyclorama as an optional add-on if you prefer a pristine surface. A $100 will apply if the cyclorama is left excessively dirty.
- Equipment & Power If a studio manager is not present, please make sure to turn off all electronic devices — including air conditioners, ventilation, and steamers — before leaving the studio. This helps us reduce unnecessary energy consumption and maintain an eco-friendly workspace. Failure to turn off these systems may result in a $50 charge for overnight power use or an environmental fee to cover excess energy costs.
- Furniture Furniture can be moved, but please lift it carefully — do not drag it across the floor to avoid damage. If you need an open space, we can clear the furniture from the room upon request before your session.
- General Policies No smoking inside the studio ($150 fee) Alcohol consumption is not allowed ($150 fee) Please maintain cleanliness and handle all furniture and equipment with care. Be respectful of the space and leave it in the same condition you found it.
- Security Cameras & Recording Devices Video surveillance is active in the hallway, reception area, and inside the studio, facing the podcast zone for security purposes.
