About the Space

Lake house on island in South Carolina on 1 acre with large back yard, large gazebo at water's edge, boat dock and lift, half a mile from a public boat ramp. Walk out basement is full apartment (kitchen, 2 BR/2ba, and laundry with separate access- handicap accessible. Lake Murray is 44 miles x 13 miles, 200 ft deep, 600 ft of shoreline, dam controlled, with wooded islands. The lake house is in the country but 40 minutes from major retail area and 1 hour from capitol city of Columbia, SC. Local outdoor tackle shop 4 miles up the road. Easy access off main road/highway 5 miles. Paved roads. Lots of parking and RV hookup. This is our primary residence but is available for primarily outdoor events, photoshoots, etc with access to the basement apartment as needed.
