Stunning Julian mountain ranch at 4500 feet above sea level, with alpine views for miles. Beautiful rustic 1930's cabin perched on 6.44 acres on Volcan Mountain. Quaint cabin has a pot-bellied stove and a beautiful wooden wrap-around porch with a porch swing. The property has a large creek with a picturesque stone bridge, and a very rustic wood barn. The yard has a split-rail fence and a rustic playground. There is a shooting range next to the barn. Surrounded by Bureau of Land Management Land so that only one other house is visible in the whole 360 degree view. Perfect location just 5 minutes from downtown Julian with tons of good restaurants and cute shops. Wide gravel road has good vehicular access. Property has high level of privacy in the rustic Miner's cabin location with undisturbed nature settings surrounding. Ancient Native American campground close by with numerous artifacts including bedroom mortars. Tons of wildlife on the property - deer, turkeys, bobcats, mountain lions and more. It is fairly easy to get photos or video of the many deer on the property. It snows on the property a few times a year, making for stunning shots and amazing sledding. Surrounded by dense trees: large very old oak trees, manzanitas, pines and California white sage. Property has StarLink, so WiFi service is amazing.
