Built in 1899 in the heart of Bed Stuy, this brownstone has preserved many of its original features, but has been completely renovated (with a little Brooklyn style), and has been featured in several magazines. When you walk through the foyer, the open floor plan showcases the brownstone’s high ceilings and elegance. Stunning original details from the brownstone include the stonework on the facade, the doors, crown moulding, and the coal fireplaces on the parlor floor and in the master bedroom. The open Southern-facing kitchen on the parlor level features modern appliances, marble shelving and a large island. The parlor level kitchen leads to a custom built wood deck with a beautiful trellis. The garden level (also with an open floor plan) leads to the “urban jungle” backyard - a lushly landscaped oasis supported by a drip irrigation system. The all-black master bedroom with adjoining all black office and massive closet give the home a modern and stylized edge.
