About the Space

This is a flexible filming and production space located in Midtown Manhattan, designed to support filming, interviews, content creation, and small-scale productions. The space works well for on-camera interviews, branded content, editorial shoots, remote recordings, and general filming. It can also function as a workspace for production teams, with four desks available that can be easily wheeled out of the way if needed. The layout is open and adaptable, allowing furniture and setups to be rearranged depending on the production requirements. Different curtain options are available and can be evenly distributed throughout the space, allowing the room and camera shots to maintain a consistent colour and visual look. Fiber internet, use of the overhead lighting grid, studio lighting, and access to furniture within the space are included. Lighting conditions can be fully controlled. The rug area measures 12 ft × 18 ft (216 sq ft) and sits directly beneath the overhead lighting grid. The full usable area, from the entryway to the studio walls, measures 34 ft × 20 ft (680 sq ft). The space is acoustically treated with Acoustic America sound panels installed across the ceiling, along with blackout curtains and sound blankets fitted to the windows for light and sound control. The overhead lighting grid includes: • 4 Nanlite FS-300B Bi-Color LED Monolight • 3 Godox Umbrella Softbox with Grid 33.5” • 1 Godox Softbox with Grid 19.7” × 51.2” • 4 Nanlite FS-60B Bi-Color Studio Spotlight • 3 Nanlite Octagonal Softbox with Grid 23.6” If you look at the floor plan, this listing refers to Studio One. The office includes two bathrooms, along with a kitchen and coffee area. The overall studio footprint is 2,250 sq ft, and this listing is for the upper room only, Studio One. The entire studio can also be rented. Please refer to the floor plan for the layout. This is available under a separate listing. This booking is for filming within Studio One only. Renting the full space is ideal if you need additional room for talent holding, hair and makeup, production offices, or equipment staging. As a fully equipped studio, we can crew your shoot and provide additional equipment as needed. Please ask for our production and equipment rate card. As with any location in New York City, occasional ambient noise such as distant sirens or street activity may be present. The studios have been designed to minimise external sound as much as possible. Three studios are fitted with window sound plugs, while the main studio uses heavy sound blankets and thick curtains. Acoustic panels are suspended from the ceiling throughout to improve sound control and overall recording quality. In colder months, there may be occasional radiator noise. The space is well controlled for interviews, podcasts, and broadcast work, but a completely silent environment cannot be guaranteed.
