About the Space

This isn't a restaurant that happens to have a bar. It's a working craft brewery which means when your guests walk in, the beer in their glass was made in the building they're standing in. Mystique Barrel Brewing and Lager House occupies a beautifully restored former theatre in Pigtown, Baltimore. The space has high ceilings, warm reclaimed wood throughout, an industrial character, and the kind of atmosphere that makes people want to stay longer than they planned. The taproom seats up to 100 guests and features a flexible layout that can be arranged to fit your event: seated dinners, standing receptions, cocktail hours, corporate happy hours, team events, private parties, you name it. The lower level can be cleared for dancing or configured for up to 40 guests for more intimate gatherings. Three 65-inch TVs and a large projector are available for presentations, slideshows, or game-day viewing. On tap is a rotating selection of craft beers brewed on-site, hard seltzers made with real fruit, and house-made non-alcoholic options so there's something for everyone. Our kitchen handles catering and à la carte service for your guests throughout the event. We're located half a mile from Camden Yards, inside the South Baltimore brewing district, and close to bars and restaurants throughout the neighborhood making us an easy anchor for a bigger night out. Pricing for Private Taproom Rental: No rental fee for the space. $50 per hour administrative fee. $200 per hour food and drink minimum (3 hr. min. rental). Most beers and hard seltzers $7. Fifteen percent discount on catering orders of ten or more. Tip not included. Pricing For Semi Private Lower/Upper level (<40 persons)l: We will gladly reserve you our upper (bar area) or lower level free of charge during normal business hours. There is a minimum of $150 per hour on food and drink. Additional charges may apply for any special setups. Please inquire.
