About the Space
Welcome to my live + work studio loft. I'm a photographer and the space is an ideal place for photo & video productions of all sizes. CSI Photo Rentals and ACME Prop + Furniture Rentals are both located next door and the space includes various Grip and Equipment at no additional charge. The interior of this residential loft located inside an old textile factory is both minimalist and industrial featuring dark stained wood furniture and accented with zen green plants. The morning light bounces off the warm brick building next door for a beautiful warm light that slowly transitions into streaming sunbeams through the 4 large windows. The streets outside are covered with incredible graffiti artworks with large sidewalks on both sides for location shooting. This place was really nice for our e-comm shoot . It had great walls for shooting something a bit different than just the same old white backdrop. The place is very tidy and clean and the host was available to answer any questions right away. The downside was that there was not tons of indoor lighting - since it was a gray day to shoot indoor lighting was necessary . There are no real plants- just fake ones which we did not really want to use in shots. The furniture looked exactly as in the listing .

Terrific experience! First time shooting here and the space is exactly as it appears in the photos. I’m a natural light shooter and the light that streamed into the apartment was ethereal and painterly. Jason was the consummate host; pinged him an hour before the shoot to let him know I was running 15 mins behind planned start time because of traffic and he was extremely accommodating and made sure we got the full two hours I had paid for even though we arrived late. Highest recommendation!
