This studio is a wonderful space for photo and video shoots, cooking classes, workshops, and more. The kitchen studio is a bright 600 square feet, with 14 foot ceilings, old factory wood floors and wide beams, and a bank of tall windows open to the sky. The adjacent studio (separate entrance) is 400 square feet with two exposed brick walls with large windows--great as a green room, for makeup and wardrobe, or for craft services, prop set up, and more. Both spaces are air-conditioned and/or heated. The kitchen contains: a commercial vintage, black top, Garland 6 burner stove 5 burner gas range, residential style two-basin sink 10-tray speed rack, on wheels knives and cutting boards mixer, food processor, blender rolling pins, and a full stock of smallwares assorted kitchen/dining props for rental hundreds of cookbooks and antique kitchenware on display There are three prep tables for use, each with have extra wide, beautifully stained, removable wood surfaces, especially great for tabletop shoots. Additionally, there are 4 (6-foot) folding tables, 20 chairs, and 8 stools. There are two multi-stall public bathrooms around the corner, down the hall. While the space is excellent for food shoots, it has been used as the backdrop for a host of other settings. Neighborhood conveniences include several grocery stores, hardware stores, as well as great take out within delivery range. Public transportation--subway and bus--is excellent. Parking in the evening and on the weekends is easy. There is a paid parking lot 5 blocks away when necessary. There are two self-operating freight elevators. We will help you load and unload as you need. The building itself is quiet; home to amazing artists, collectors, and small manufacturers. Rules: It is the renter's responsibility to make sure the building and studio space are well maintained and cleaned, including returning items to their original place, washing all used dishes, and wiping down dirtied surfaces. We love our space and take great care of it; we hope you'll do the same. Please, no smoking.
