We are a nonprofit multipurpose sports and activities center in Downtown Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a facility in Downtown, Los Angeles for youth, families and seniors that offers sports, community activities, and opportunities to connect visitors to Japanese American culture and a vibrant.. We have 5 main rental spaces (Community Room, Courtyard, Gymnasium, Plaza & Stage, and Terrace) and an underground parking lot. This rental posting to the GYMNASIUM only. For our other spaces please see out other postings. Gymnasium: The gymnasium can be used for both sports and non-sports use. Sports Use - The indoor gymnasium features two basketball courts, four volleyball courts, and a competition space for martial arts. Seating for up to 600 spectators. Non-Sports Use - With the gym floor covering system, the space is completely transformable to host any type of event. Equipped with a sound system. *Note, in order to use this space for non-sports use a floor covering is required at an additional fee. Parking: The underground parking garage is open to the public from 7am-12am daily, and can accommodate up to 55 cars, including three electric vehicle charging stations.
