Huge apartment in beautiful Brooklyn Brownstone. Set on a tree-lined street in one of Brooklyn’s most vibrant neighborhoods, this 1,000 sf apartment in redbrick pre-war townhouse has a dream New York vibe! Enjoy all that historic Greenpoint, Brooklyn has to offer within just a short stroll of our front door. McGolrick Park is virtually around the corner, while the sizable McCarren Park with its bike paths, pool and play center is but a few further blocks west. New York’s hippest bars, decadent cafés, and most diverse, high-quality restaurants pepper the neighborhood, and there’s also an abundance of boutique shopping. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby, along with both the L and G trains providing access to the rest of the city. Citibike stations are close to the home, making travel around town quicker, easier, and even more enjoyable. We owe the entire house, we rent the basement for short-rental stay and rent the 1st floor apartment to full-time tenants that we love. We are offering the 2nd floor apartment where myself (Virginie), my husband Julien and our 2 kids Ingo (12y old) and Ella (9y old) are living. It's a typical railroad apartment that we remodeled. We have bricks exposed in all the rooms except in the 2 bathrooms. One of them is larger with a jacuzzi type of tub and the other one is smaller with a NY low tub/shower. The kitchen is open to the large living room. The larger bedroom with large windows to the street is very bright during the day, it's Ingo and Ella's bedroom with 2 twin custom loft beds with their work dedicated spaces under them. All the ceiling are exposed beams painted in white. It's a very warm and cozy environment.
