This is a water-centric glamping experience for people interested in being in nature on the water. Our current location is an amazing spot with the hill blocking the wind and the sun during our hot summer days and sunny winter days it is quiet, calm, and peaceful and the lake is like glass. We rent by the hour for special occasions and overnight stays please confirm check-in and checkout times before booking. The Houseboat-Yacht stays anchored in a cove this vessel is not a charter we do not take guests on a cruise around Lake Travis with this vessel. You and your group will be picked up by a pontoon and/or Bayliner Cierra Cruiser from the dock at Mansfield Dam Park and provided a boat tour to the cave where the Houseboat-Yacht is located and then another boat tour on the way back. Our shuttle tour starts by going from one end of Mansfield Dam to the other end you will be approximately 15 feet away from the dam and being up so close the view of the dam is spectacular. From the dam we go by Sometimes Island, the Oasis Restaurant, Hippy Hollow, and Windy Point, then heading to our cove we pass by limestone cliffs, a bird sanctuary, Waterloo Adventures, and Lake Travis Zipline watching people zipping across, then head to the Houseboat. We provide a similar shuttle tour on the way back to the pickup location. We call this the Dam Eco Shuttle Tour which takes approximately 30 minutes in each direction, on request we can shorten or extend the time of the shuttle tour. We have another nearby location for pickups and drop-offs that guests can also canoe or kayak from and will take about 10-15 minutes this may be a better alternative if access is needed to get to your vehicle. There is a $5 per person parking fee at our pickup location. The shuttle service is included in the price. If you overnight and need additional shuttle service it's $50 between 10 am-6 pm or $100 outside of these hours. If you have your boat it can be tied off to the houseboat. Check with us on availability and pricing if interested to rent a pontoon. We are anchored next to Waterloo Adventures and Lake Travis Zip Line which is the longest and fastest zip line in Texas. The Oasis on Lake Travis is one of the most popular restaurants known for having the best Texas sunsets. Other popular places are Steiner Ranch Steakhouse, Los Pinos Mexican Restaurant, and Emerald Point Bar & Grill Marina which is one of the numerous restaurants accessible by boat. For an additional fee, we can provide transportation via Pontoon to any of the waterfront restaurants. The lake is a reservoir on the Colorado River in central Texas. Our current location is in a beautiful cove next to Zip Line and Waterloo Adventures. On request, we can also provide the houseboat at various locations on Lake Travis.
