About the Space

We are located in the center of Historic Hope Village in Hope, NJ, directly across the street from the Moravian Cemetery & down the street from the old Hartung’s General store where the original Friday the 13th was filmed. Our home is a 1700’s Moravian Stone Cottage located on 2.7 lush acres with a detached garage, potting shed, outhouse & barn with a small tavern & Biergarten. We are located across from St. John’s church and are able to use their parking lot for a small donation. The inside of our home features wide plank floors, transom window, dutch & french doors decorated tastefully in European English Cottage style. We are ten minutes to downtown historic Blairstown, NJ also where Friday the 13th was originally filmed. We are currently adding to our gardens & there are views of the mountains of Jenny Jump State Forest from our yard as well as a small pond across the street. All the buildings on our street in the tiny village are historic & most dating back to the 1700s.
