Mysterious Victorian / Craftsman with Basement

** OPEN FOR COVID-COMPLIANT PRODUCTIONS ** Newly painted and numerous interior upgrades! We are very experienced working with crews to shoot all types of productions. We make it easy! A blend of Victorian and Craftsman architecture, this house is a historical landmark that would be perfect setting for your feature film, music video, interview series, or short. For filmmakers, the house is decked out in an atmospheric, gothic style and is filled with antiques, curiosities, and surprises at every turn. We are constantly adding to and changing the décor so if you've seen our place before, it probably looks completely different! The house was built in 1902 and features an original exterior and well-decorated interior that features ornate woodwork and craftsmanship. You get a ton of production value when you shoot here! It's a mid-sized house with 3,446 sq. ft. on 2 levels plus a ~500 sq. ft. finished brick basement. The 1st floor features renovated plaster walls, ornate woodwork, chandeliers, and 12 ft. ceilings. The 2nd floor has original 1902 wood floors, plaster walls and ceilings. On the second floor is a unique "boarding house" style bathroom with 2 stalls, 2 showers (circa 1940's).

Robert was a great host. Supported us with everything we needed, and was so helpful from pre-production through the end of the shoot. Will most definitely shoot here again!

A terrifically beautiful location, especially on the inside! Permits are generally easy to get in Glendale for this space, especially if you give them advance notice. Robert, the owner, is very friendly and professional, and has taken a LOT of time to make the house visually rich for filming. Important to note, make sure you bring plenty of material to protect the hardwood floors, a table to do makeup and hair, and a wardrobe rack. Also, there is no food allowed inside, so a table and coolers for food and drinks are a very good idea!
