A one-of-a-kind historic venue in the heart of Downtown LA's Broadway corridor — a 40,000-plus-square-foot, multi-level building wrapped in a fantastical redwood forest theme that's been a city landmark since 1935. It's built for events, productions, and shoots that want a setting unlike anything else in Los Angeles. Across its floors you'll find a series of fully realized, immersive environments: the original Brookdale cafeteria with its towering forest centerpiece, a Gothic bar, a tiki-themed Pacific Seas bar, a treetop lounge, a ballroom, and a speakeasy-style basement venue. Each space has its own distinct look, so you can shoot or host across multiple settings without leaving the building. The venue holds up to roughly 1,600 guests depending on configuration, with flexible layouts that work for anything from an intimate gathering to a large-scale production or event. It comes with real production infrastructure — projection mapping, a full lighting and sound system, multiple screens, performance stages, and dance floors.
