About the Space

The venue is a historic wedding venue located in Dadeville, Alabama. Built in 1835, the house is the birthplace of one of the founders of the Southern Company, Sydney Z. Mitchell. With four Greek-style columns in front as well as an ancient ginkgo tree, the restored home caters to various events such as ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, engagement parties, and rehearsal dinners. It can accommodate up to 500 people. The venue itself features a fully furnished formal parlor, a formal dining room, an elegant entryway and hallway with staircase, a banquet room, and different dressing rooms for the couples. For smaller gatherings, a gazebo and landscape yard can serve as perfect backdrops.
