About the Space

For the past 50 years, the Auditorium has served the city of Pasadena as an ascoustial masterpiece, bringing many cultural performances and musical masterpieces to its stage. Originally established and operated by The Worldwide Church of God, it was a home for weekly worship services and later opened its doors for a variety of performances. From its grand opening in April of 1974 to its closing in 1995, the auditorium hosted 2,500 concerts and 2.5 million concertgoers. Distinguished classical, jazz, opera, country, and theatrical artists performed on stage. The Auditorium also featured ballet, ethic dance, comedy, musical theatre, and variety performances.
