About the Space
1860's historic country home located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains NY only two hours fifteen minutes from New York City. The house sits at the base of Panther Mountain and across the road from the Esopus Creek. With more than five acres, this home sits majestically at the foot of the mountain. The front yard is mountain spring on one side of the property which flows down the mountain. Local lore has it that this spring nourished residents for centuries. Stone walls and structures from indigenous cultures dot the landscape placing the home in a time long ago. The front of the home looks out across the valley and toward the surrounding mountains. Travel a mile or two in every direction you'll find five star resorts with top food and lodging. The home is in Big Indian NY, with close proximity to skiing and an endless number of charming towns nestled off route 28 -- from Woodstock to Margaretville.
