Historic Bank with ORIGINAL features!
Bartlett TX is one of the most unique historic towns in Texas. The historic Bank was opened in 1904 and was an operating bank until the 1930's. It was rescued from its abandoned state and has been lovingly restored as a place to stand arm in arm with the past and future. You can walk down historic brick streets and window shop or stop for a cup of coffee at the local "Neighbors" coffee shop. The bank itself if full of surprises at every turn - from original vaults, original flooring, antiques bank teller cages and ORIGINAL deposit slips and bank records from the early 1900s, historic safe deposit boxes and so much more. This historic Bank now boasts 2 bedrooms in the old banker office space, a kitchen in what was the old teller station with the teller walls still in tact. The Bank Managers office is now a study/office and contains letters originally written in that very office in the early 1920's. The old bank vaults serve as a pantry and wine cellar. The soaring ceilings are ornate and showcase the true beauty of this historic building built in the Beaux Arts style. This historic Bank is a one of a kind stay in the most photographed town in Texas! We can't wait to welcome you!
