Film inside a colorful artisan marketplace in a restored 1940s wood warehouse on the Los Angeles waterfront in San Pedro. Long retail aisles, eclectic shopfronts, handmade goods, books, art and layered displays offer a variety of authentic backgrounds within one distinctive interior. Skylights, exposed timber beams, high ceilings and warm historic character give the market a rich sense of scale and texture. The layout suits film and television scenes, commercials, music videos, editorial and fashion photography, product shoots, interviews and walk-and-talk sequences. The owner estimates the marketplace at approximately 26,000 square feet. Production features include ground-floor access, giant barn doors, a loading dock with a ramp, Wi-Fi, restroom access, hair-and-makeup space and a separate Office / Green room for crew and talent. All rooms are available for shooting, and exterior filming is allowed. Discuss your proposed footprint and crew needs before booking. Standard availability is Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to midnight, for up to 300 people total. The rate is $1,000 per hour with a four-hour minimum ($4,000 base location fee before platform fees and applicable taxes). Setup, filming, strike, cleanup and load-out must all fit within the booked time. No overnight productions. Free onsite parking, free street parking and nearby lots provide options. Share vehicle counts and truck or trailer needs to coordinate loading and parking. A fixed exclusive parking allotment is not guaranteed; confirm loading clearances and truck staging for your shoot. The building has fans and airflow but no air conditioning or heating, and no production kitchen. Soundproofing, blackout capability, electrical capacity and circuit-breaker access are not established; scout for your lighting, sound and power needs. Furniture and decorations may be moved with host coordination. Lift rather than drag, protect displays and surfaces, and restore the original arrangement. Confirm fragile items and any removal of artwork or furniture in advance. Smoke machines and nudity are allowed; coordinate effects safety and closed-set requirements with the host. Keep exits, aisles, loading routes and fire equipment clear.
