A real, working theatre in the heart of Burbank, just minutes from major studios. The main stage features approximately 99 seats, a raised stage, and authentic backstage areas you would expect from a functioning theatre. It’s a ready-made setting for audience scenes, backstage drama, auditions, and live events, without the need to recreate or dress up a soundstage. The Space The Big Victory covers about 1,900 sq ft. The stage is 24' × 18', raised 12" above the house, with an apron that extends toward the audience. It has a 10' ceiling. The house is about 24' × 26', with 8 rows of theatre seating and side aisles. A tech booth sits at the back of the house, looking straight down to the stage. Backstage Behind the stage, a backstage hallway leads to a dressing room with a dressing table, two restrooms, and backstage storage. The spaces backstage are as usable on camera as the stage itself. Front of House A 24' × 12' lobby opens onto Victory Blvd, and there's also an office. The lobby works well as a holding area, check-in point, or its own set. Access There's a street entrance on Victory Blvd and a rear exit to the alley, which is handy for load-in. Street parking and two free lots are available. History Founded in 1979, the Victory has staged more than 100 productions over four decades. It has premiered work by celebrated playwrights and earned major Los Angeles theater awards. That history shows in every corner, and it's the kind of character that's hard to build from scratch.
