About the Space

Step into a one-of-a-kind 1860 Locktender Cottage nestled in the historic hamlet of High Falls, NY. This charming, light-filled home blends bold design, eclectic antiques, and rich history—making it ideal for photo shoots, filming, and creative productions. The cottage features eye-catching patterns, curated antique furnishings, and thoughtfully styled spaces throughout. The parlor, the main living area, offers two antique velvet sofas, an upholstered footstool, and a classic wooden chair. Adjacent is a beautifully updated first-floor bathroom with striking black-and-white tile and a walk-in shower. The first-floor bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, high ceilings, abundant natural light, and an elegant ensuite bathroom with a deep claw-foot tub, polished brass fixtures, gold-framed vintage art, and candelabra sconces—perfect for editorial or period-inspired shoots. Upstairs, the suite level includes a kitchenette with custom green cabinetry, arched window, and floral wallpaper, alongside a dining area with a restored chandelier, antique cane chairs, and a cozy lounge nook. A queen-sized guest bed is tucked into the sleeping nook, complemented by stylish sconces and unique antique hardware details. Outdoors, the property is surrounded by mature trees, wildflowers, and blooming perennials. The front and back yards offer multiple dining areas, solar string lights, a retro Coca-Cola standing cooler, a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, and backyard trail access leading to the Rondout Creek and waterfall. A historic pond runs along the east side of the property—remnants of the Roebling Aqueduct Suspension Bridge.
