Built in the 1970s, out of a single redwood tree, this is a mid-century modern home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright's chief engineer and protegé Kelly Oliver. This 2 acre estate was held private until 2019 when the present owners purchased the property and completely restored it. The home was built by a flamboyant Irving developer and his wife who hosted notable celebrities in their groovy home such as Tom Landry, Nelson and Bunker Hunt, various Dallas Cowboys as well as numerous Texas congressmen and senators from the 1970's era. Completely restored, this home has many shooting locations with natural light and plenty of space for controlled lighting.
The homes gated front entrance, with a long brick driveway, leads to a port-a-caché with custom designed mid-century lighting. Iron doors open to a bridge, fountain, waterfall and 3500 sf lush tropical courtyard featuring a unique geometric pool with stone decking.
