Film and Video productions (as opposed to still photography) have an additional fee of +$100/hour (i.e. $200/hr (base) + $100/hr (film surcharge)) = $300/hr for film and video projects. This surcharge is due to the need for multiple scouts, heavier footprint, wear & tear, and EQ associated with these shoots.
The hourly base rate increases as your head count increases. Please plug in your numbers to calculate your base rate in the Giggster widget.
Additional costs:
- 1x $500 Site Rep Fee
- 1x $300 Cleaning Fee
Finally, we require all bookings to put down a Security Deposit (5x hourly fee). This Security Deposit will be returned to your account within 5-10 business days assuming no damages occurred during your shoot.
Someone from our team will be on site with you for the duration of the shoot to orient you in the space and also to verify head count and that all rules are followed.
We have a 10 hour minimum. The safest way to plan to avoid overages like OT is to simply schedule yourself for the full 10 hours even if you do not anticipate needing the full amount of time.
Events and large impact network/commercial filming will require a customized fee schedule.
We do not accommodate discounts and cannot be flexible with minimum hours. You cannot book this location for a few hours.
Our space is a unique location. It's a theatre as well as a gym in one. This colosseum feeling large space has an untouched vintage personality. The space is suitable for both small as well as large scale productions. If you're mood board is looking for anything close to vintage, this location will fulfill your visual needs. There is additional holding that can be booked for $175/hr. A generator is required for the holding space. The location can be used for photo and film productions of all sizes. This location, serving as a photo and film studio is located in Brooklyn. This multi-unit location offers a variety of different spaces, all with a unique, vintage and raw feel that is hard to find in New York. Combined with the amount of natural light and the vintage decor, this location will help you realize your creative vision for your project.
Additional large holding space can be rented out for an additional fee. Please ask us about adding holding access to your booking.
The power in this building is very weak. We recommend bringing a generator or battery powered gear if you have any particularly powerful lighting / gear.
When you book one of our spaces, you'll be connected to an on-site representative who will be with you throughout your production to orient you in the space and answer any questions.
Please note, some rooms are upstairs. This is a great space for all crew sizes as the location is spacious and expansive.
A certificate of insurance is required of all productions.
Upon booking this location it's required to sign a Location Agreement. Absence of a signed Location Agreement can lead to the host canceling the booking.
Heavy Equipment can’t be plugged into the Location’s power network. Crews should be aware that the Location runs on normal household power circulation and that they would need to arrange for an external power generator themselves may they have any Heavy Equipment in their EQ Package.
