The Grand Staircase is bookable only within one month prior to your photography date as it is pending other events taking place in our spaces. This helps to ensure that you enjoy an undisrupted photoshoot. HISTORY Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, the ‘Castle in the City’ reflects timeless luxury and history of Vancouver since 1939. Journey through the iconic moments of the storied past within the renovated grandeur of the present. In 1939, Hotel Vancouver opened with a bold art moderne design for the lobby, restaurants and suites of the hotel, and a classic Adam brothers style for the ballroom and event floor.
