About the Space

The studio is 900 square feet of light! A natural light photographer's (or content creator's!) dream space. LIGHT: There are 8 windows that face East, and 3 windows that face North. Morning sunlight is stunning and gorgeous, yet the space stays very light and airy feeling all day long. Afternoon light is indirect AND we get beautiful glowy bounced light off of two white buildings to the north and east of us. The light is great all day! We are located in the corner of 8th floor, providing views of the over the city from our 11 large windows. I designed this space to seamlessly offer both studio and lifestyle setups in the same location. STYLE: Polished concrete floors, white walls, and the giant windows give a modern and slightly industrial feel. Pretty neutral furnishings (everything can be moved easily) add a softer feel and many posing options. I also have three really cool white boxes that are great for posing on and around, 3 sizes.There is plenty of open space for a clean shoot zone. For more photos of the space check out our instagram: @thesunnyspotstudio USABILITY: A mirrored make-up station with an additional table and rolling cart gives your make-up and hair team lots of space to set-up. There is also a full length mirror. There is another rolling desk for computer and space to set your cameras, lenses and other items down, yet keep them in arms reach. It could even work as a dolly! PLEASE NOTE: The space is monitored by Ring video camera. This camera does not face toward the dressing room, but it does see the rest of the space. By booking you consent to being on camera. However, if you want to arrange for privacy in advance, that can be arranged.
