About the Space

Ancestral Southern home and farm. Seven generations have called this magical place home. The farm was founded in 1847 when the current owners ancestors settled there. They first built a log cabin which is still being used as a home today. In 1869 the farmhouse was built and has been recently renovated. The farm available to rent is 23 acres but part of a larger family farm that consists of over 300 acres. Besides the cabin and the farmhouse, there is an original smokehouse, chicken house turned into and outdoor bar and sitting area, and several barns and sheds. Sheep and chickens reside on the farm and can be part of the shoot if needed. The occasional deer and wild turkey can be seen as well. An additional 32 acres with a very rustic 1800’s cabin and pond could also be used if needed but lacks electricity on that part of the farm. The property is very private and cannot be seen from the main road.
